i have 2 9800gx2 cards and i am having difficulties maintaining 125fps on cod4 with all settings on low it can some times go down as low as 60fps

i have turned of sound hq filter of and aa is off.

my specs are

1kw ocz power supply
e8400 clocked to 4.05
900gx2 quad sli
4gig of 1066 hyper x memory
2x 500 gig seagate barracuda 32meg cache drives stripping
evga 750 sli ht mainboard
zalman cooler
creative extreme gamer sound card

i have this running at 1920x1200 but i thought this would be enough to run the game on low settings.

if anyone has any ideas on what i can do to improve this i would be gratefull

oh i have updated all drivers for mainboard and g/card

Try turning your settings up. I am more than positive a quad SLI set up should be able to handle that game @ 1920x1200 with relative ease.

ok I will comment.

1. I cannot believe your GOD gave you some some EXTREME sight so you can distinguish 60fps from 125, not to mention that I dont even know any monitor that can show 125Hz on 1920x1200

2. Its either you are talking garbage or you dont have anything else to talk and create such stupid post

3. In the very small chance of you being so extremely stupid and buy a $3000-$4000 build only to play games on LOWEST settings then you made my day

4. IF you want to run any games at such high fps you should probably know that your CPU is the limiting factor not your GX2s.

Oh btw yesterday I bought myself a Ferrari Enzo but I only get about 50mph on 1st gear. What is my problem?

I thought this would be enough to get at least 200MPH on 1st gear.

if anyone has any ideas on what i can do to improve this i would be gratefull :D

i have lowered the settings for matches i do not need it to look to good for matches as for the fps i am using the game to monitor and when it shows fps that is what i am using you can see the movement decrease on the screen as it is jerky so if that is garbage then so be it i am asking for help with this, other wise i would not have posted all i want to do is play matches on a level playing field and save the graphics for games i play on mine own is that to much to ask? the monitor is a w2408h hp if that helps

listen, no matter if it shows you 200, 500 or even 100 000 fps, if your monitor is refreshing at 60 Hz or 75Hz or even at 100Hz thats how much fps you actually are getting.

If you play online then some network glitches can also prevent you from getting very high fps or you can feel it a little jerky but thats not because of your machine.

I havent tried but I bet my 8800GT on low can get same fps as you.

So you dont need 125 fps. if you get 60fps then you are good enough.

then the problem is either in the drivers or in the overkill you have for such a demand. you will most probably get better fps or smooth gameplay with a single 9800GTX because of avoiding any troubles with SLI not to mention Quad SLI

Or the problem can be your network or internet
