Hello,I want to capture video from my DV (Canon MD120)using Firewire 1394 but was not detect by my computer.Can somebody tell me why? and how I can resolve and capture my video? Thanks.

Let's back up a bit.

1. Assuming you have a firewire port, is it, was it, working right at some point?

2. Have you read through the camera manual on how to connect it?
