It's probably picking it up as a potential media server/client device. Wouldn't be at all surprised if it has to do with the recent 360 dashboard update, which I believe added some more media player type functions.

Gotcha... so chances are, no driver expected, which is cool..
Unless that's because of the Windows-8 Smartglass functionality... Which is another reason, I guess, to give the computer the upgrade...
