I have a Gigabyte 780G motherboard and recently purchased a Ati 3450 card..
My question is..

Upon enabling hybrid crossfire, what output do I use?
The motherboard (IGP)? or on the 3450?
I will only use one monitor by the way.
Thanks..sorry for such a newbie question.

Can't find any real instructions on the web about this.

I believe you just use the appropriate IGP connector to the motherboard and the card works in Crossfire:

The idea is that you'd get your video output from your integrated GPU, the add-in card would simply act as an accelerator driving data to the output on the motherboard. The future for technologies like Hybrid CrossFire is exciting. Expect to see Hybrid CrossFire with RS780 boards starting in late January for the Chinese market, and by March for the rest of the world.

I have the GA-MA78GM-S2H board too, but I decided not to switch my X2 over, but will wait till I can get an 8750 and 1066 memory to go with it. From all the reviews, it's a really great board for either an HTPC or everyday use. Won't be using a 3450, as I have the 3870x2.

One recent announcement from AMD is that if you use a board with an SB700 southbridge with an existing triple or upcoming BE edition quad core , then it will be automatically overclocked. Let's hope Gigabyte will support it on this board.
