If there is no USB controller stated in the DM, is it because my OS been
corrupted or it is that the usb port is faulty. Any opinion as how can I
resolve the issue ,TIA,

I'm not aware of an OS issue that prevents the OS from displaying a functional controller. Doesn't mean it's not possible though. Not to mention, what OS...?

Have you checked to see if the USB controllers and/or ports have been disabled in the BIOS?

Is it just one controller that is not appearing...do others show / work fine? Has there been any recent changes to the system?
