I just built my first computer and installed an early version of windows xp home edition. Everything works fine except I can't connect to the internet. When I open the "network connections" window nothings shows. It's just a blank window. Any ideas?

sounds like you need to install your network card / wifi card,

does it show up in device manager?

I should feel stupid. After I updated/installed my drivers everything was fine. Thanks for the advice though.
