i recently bought a hitachi 1tb harddrive, it was on sale.
now that i look at it, it probably wasn't the best option because of it's 16mb buffer.
has anyone every used hitachi drives before?
I've never. How's their quality? performance?

The difference between 16 MB and 32 MB for on-disk cache is small, and many users will never notice it.
