Hey there people!

I gotta question: I tried to connect my Laptop to my HDTV (720p/1080i), using an Svideo cable, but the picture was so bad it was almost unwatchable. So I bought a VGA to component cable online, but I just a get pink colour with lots of movement on the screen when I plug it in. My laptop has a Intel X3100, with the latest drivers.

Anyone have any ideas how I can make this work, or better ideas about how to connect my laptop to my TV, which only has S-video, component and HDMI inputs?

Thanks!
