Will my Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53Ghz 1066FSB 45nm processor work with this motherboard?

eVGA SKT 775 NF630i Micro ATX: http://www.pccyber.com/?v=product& [...] CK-NF77-A1, http://www.evga.com/products/moreI [...] d%20Family

Processor: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] No=3856076

My previous motherboard said it supported Core 2 Duos and my current Pentium D. The Pentium D is 90nm and the Core 2 Duos are 65nm and 45nm. I bough a 45nm but it turns out it can only support 65nm chips so I was out of luck. hence I'm buying a new mobo. Thanks.

I definitely wouldn't recommend getting the 630i as its loaded with issues. See if you can get a P35 or P45 chipset.

dude look it up! that is lame!

nf6 chipsets and 45nm do not mix!

get nf7 chipset

first off get intel chipsets and do some research on your own!

they suck i nfact i think they are defective to such a degree that we could have class action law suits

i could list all the issues, the bottom line is the issues have not gone away - the 7 series are just as bad as the 6 and they all inherited the heat and less reliable south bridge of the 5 series

overclocking is definitely a lot harder and corruption issues.
