Give info on wat cooling u are using???

Reply to gkay09

its a cooler master tx2 multi socket cooler..i cant seem to go past 3.6..i tried..i tried upping the cpu vcore but no luck..tried upping the nb core no luck..any suggestions?

Reply to witeboy07

I see what your memory was running at stock, but not what it is running with the OC. Can you check on cpu-z where it sits right now? I'm guess that it is what is holding you back by what you've posted. Have you already tried knocking the memory divider down to the 667 or 533 settings?

Reply to shabodah

it is ddr2 800 ram and i put the divider to ddr 533 so rite now its around 366mhz..

Reply to witeboy07

Can you get it to run at 12x300?

What are your current NB and HT multipliers?

CPU voltage? Ram Voltage?

my htt is at 1.4ghz and my nb is at 1600 i belief..i have no multi..right now currently readind cpuz shows

htlink-1925

nb-2200

Reply to witeboy07

my voltages are ram 2.2

nb 1.4

ht 1.30

cpu vcore 1.5

Reply to witeboy07

Well, then your NB appears to be set at a multi of 8x and your HT at 7x. I'd try and set them to the same multiplier (7 or 8), and see how that affects things.

First things first, though, did 12x300 work?

Reply to shabodah

im going to try it in a bit..if that dont work..what else can i do

Reply to witeboy07

i just tried it...12x 300 and it is looking very stable..thnk i can go higher?
i also put the nb and ht mulis the same as you said..

Sorry to say it, but, it looks to me like you hit the ceiling with the processor. You just overclocked everything else higher than your other overclock without issue.

Reply to shabodah

one more thing guys if you guys havent caught it,...i have enabled the 4th core..running stable at 3.5 with a mutli of 11.5x305..voltage of 1.48

Reply to witeboy07

If I was in the market for a new PC I would definitely base it around that sweet little x3 chip. Seems like you got a great deal.

Reply to San Pedro

yes i did..i thought it would be unstable but all cores seem to work great as a quad core..so if your in the market looking for a new mob and cpu..get a biostar or a mobo with the special bios and the x3 phenom 2...and you might get a good quad deal..

Reply to witeboy07

hey Witeboy can you make a tut on what you did OCing & Enabling the 4th core I am about to build a new system with this cpu

Reply to Maskim19

sure why not..it should be ready by the end of the day today..
