Pci-e2.0 in Pci-e 16x?

Well im planning to buy a xfx 8800gts 512 g92 and does all pci16 support pci16 2.0?? my motherboard is gigabyte brand and 500watt good for the gfx?

PCIE2.0 is backward compatible, so it will work. And 500watt psu is enough.
