Acer computer help

Hello,
I have an Acer Aspire T180 (desktop).When I turn it on,all I get is continual beeping...The light on the monitor goes green for a second,then turns amber,while the beeping just goes on and on.I'm about to throw the whole kit and kaboodle out the window...please help before i pull out what little hair i have left.thanks

Might be a RAM problem. remove and reset the ram one at the time if you have two sticks and see if you dont have a key stuck on the keyboard

Try download a manual for your model and check section for beep codes.

I had a similar problem on an HP computer it was a problem with the memory on the video card had gone bad.I replace the video car and every thing was good. bottom line is that it is a memory problem not being plugged in correctly or burnt out. I would say that your sound card is good because it is driving your speakers. If you have an integrated board then most likely it is the Ram.
