Best nvidia driver for crisis?

Hi.

I started playing crysis recently w/ my bfg 8800gt 512mb. I remember hearing from somewhere that some old versions (as in 169 ver.) of nvidia drivers are better fit than the new ones to play crysis. Is this true? Also, I would like to hear any other methods for boosting up the fps in crysis (exept overclocking; already done that).
