Is the box cooler for Intel Core 2 Duo (E8400 or E8500) going to be fine if I am not overclocking?

I'm building a budget game machine to replace my older P4 2.6GHz machine that uses DDR and AGP. I've done a lot of research on Tom's and I'm trying to sort out what's best for me from what's best for overclockers.
