Okay so i was looking to purchase a x48 board and thr Asus rampage formula seems to be the best one out there considering it also has power savings which the GIGABYTE GA-X48-DS4 seems not to have(not advertised). so i was wondering if its open box does that mean you don't get all the parts including the drivers and cables and no warranty? because although i like the gigabyte board i really want power saving features.

Hey man,

I personally wouldn't go with a open box, as its kinda a hit or miss situation whether you get an okay one or not.

But the good news is.... the Gigabyte board seems to have a power saving utility. Check out the link below and find the review by "Dozer", or just Ctrl+F and type in "power saving", and that should take you to the review.
