I have one coming Monday, was just curious on how it compares to my old 19" square LCD. I know it's 22" diagonal, I was just curious of I will loose any physical screen height and it will just be wider...etc
the actal monitor size will vary because of the casing that it's in. but the monitor on 22"diagnal is 18-5/8" wide and 11-5/8" in height. hope this helps. and btw my monitor is samsung 22" 220wm
I went from a stand 19" LCD to a widescreen 22" LCD. The screen height is exactly the same, but its about 3" wider overall, not measuring diagonally. There will be some variance among different companies, but this close to what you can expect.
Lol, you could have done the math, just set up some proportions! Or looked it up on newegg or something.
Oh well, looks like godless solved your problem.

Perfect. My current setup is a laptop in the middle, a 17" LCD on the right side (extension to the laptop) and a 19" LCD on the left of the laptop screen for my PC. I was using Maxivista to use my
PC as a 3rd monitor until it died as well as the monitor just recently.
