Simpletech Pro Drive 1.0TB

Can the Simpletech 1.0TB Pro Drive be disassembled? I purchased it with the intent of using the hard drive separate from the enclosure. I'm not to worried about the warranty, as long as i can affirm that both can be used independently of each other.

Well, it's not a matter of disassembling (anything can be taken apart), but a question of what kind of connector the hard disk uses inside. Have you tried contacting the company regarding this?
