hi guys

my laptop is giving me problems. sometimes it starts up but hangs forever at the welcome, select user screen. then it will just kick in all at once. then sometimes it won't even get that far. when the computer is actually up and running it runs like a dream.

i have 1g ram. i thought about memory but i cant seemt o choose dvd drive as my first boot up device other wise i'd run memtest
