I use Transcend multicard reader to read my SD card. When I plug it to usb port, sometimes it recognized sometimes not. Why is that??

system spec:
os: windows xp sp2
proc: intel E7500
mobo: Asus P5Q Pro
psu: Corsair VX 450
ram: Kingston KVR DDR2 800

Happened to me occasionally.
I replaced the card reader and all is fine now.

I tried the USB backport on the mobo, and the problem seems to be gone now.
