I am buying my friends DELL GeForce 7800 GTX (X8764). He took it out of his XPS 600. Am I able to replace my GeForce 6600 in my non-dell computer?

So long as you have the same connection (AGP or PCI-E), and your power supply has the appropriate connectors and enough power, you should be fine.
