Cheapest 1gig ram

hey guys i need a 1 gig ram chip for my computer, its the older type of ram so i guess they are a little more expensive? just wanted to see if anyone knows the cheapest 1 gig chip (lowest i found was $28)

my comp takes the 184 pin, DDR1-333 SDRAM at max speed PC2700 MB/sec

don't think this matters but my comp maxes at 2 gigs and i have a 1 gig chip and a 512mb chip. so i would need to swap the 512mb with another 1 gig.


thoughts/suggestions/comments/solutions?

whats wrong with 1.5 gigs?

I'd jsut wait and save your money... then when nehalem comes out get a cheap core 2 after the price drops

and then get 4 gigs and vista and a 4850

and you probably don't need any of that stuff but it would be a huge upgrade
