Which monitor?

So I'm looking to get a new monitor for gaming and general use. I currently have a 1280x1024 17 inch, so anything is better. However i don't want to get ripped off. My budget is around 300 USD. If its REALLY worth it, i probably can go up to 400 USD.

22 inch/24 inch, it doesn't matter to me (should it)?

What is the difference between the two? Also, are those the best in this price range? Or am i missing something.

They're basically the same. The first one has better contrast ratio. Nothing too noticable though. And don't get open-box. Those have dead pixles.

There are other solid monitors at better price. This one is under $200 for 22inch. Good quality, decent specs, excellent reviews. The price drop is only on this weekend though, and will climb back up to $260 after 2 days.
