Hey,

Call me a noob, BUT:

I have these headphones (mic attached)... I try to record my voice, and I get nothing.

I play some music, and I see THAT gets recorded (but in poor quality) as though it's being picked up by the mic.

Can anyone help? I went into audio options, made sure Reltek input was selected, tried muting/unmuting a few things, no change.

mmm
did you built this pc ?
maybe the connectors on the mobo are inverted so you can hear what the computer is recording but you cant hear yourself?
maybe you need to play with the audio setting and see what is the device that recording and which is play back.
what is your audio card? is it on board ?
