Hi guys
please help me , im noob :(
and not so good in english so please just help me :(
i got some big problem here
well i got a desktop acer asphire vista
and somethings wrong with my boot up
everytime i turn on my computer
it have that black screen and white cursor in top left corner
i dont know whats this is, so what i did
was chek the bios setup and chek if my hard disk is detected and so i did chekd it and it was detected and then i runed the system recovery it says i dont have operating system
or hard disk
i dont know why is like this
it happen because
i downloaded this prgoram call "FAT 32 FORMATER"
and i did pressed something called "INITIALIZEE DRIVE"
and i press that and it runs with blue screen and i panic and tot it was virus
so what i did is , i forcely turnd off my computer and after that when i turn it back on
it have that black screen with white cursor, and cant even run safe boot or anything
only BIOS SETUP AND ya . :(
please help me asap
i dont know what else to do
i dont wanna open the computer
cause it myt void the warranty
and i dont wanna loose my data and everything
on my hard disk. so please help me

BTW I GOT SATA HARD DRIVE
AND ON BIOS SETUP
MY IDE IS NOT DETECTED
BUT MY SATA PRIMARY MASTER AND SLAVE IS DETECTED.

Sounds like you started to reformat your hard drive (FAT 32 Formatter) when you clicked "Initialize Drive". Computers are fast, and it had started its job before you powered off.

I suspect the data on that drive is "gone", and you will need to do a fresh install.

If you have Recovery disk, reinstall windows. Else if its under warranty call Acer, they should be able to send you the Disk (don’t tell them, you used FAT 32 FORMATER).

If they wanted to charge you for the back disk, just download it from internet. Do a google search by entering: Acer asphire vista recovery disk ( Or what ever the model is).
