To answer the question in the thread title - you can't but you coul dborrow one and use the second of the two Repair options offered during the setup process.

On the resolution problem, if you've tried all the software options - including the most important Screen Refresh Rate, then the issue may be in the monitor's own settings menu if it has one. Explore the buttons on the monitor - you may find something useful.[/#000ff]
