Temp monitoring software

Currently I am using PC Probe II from Asus for my CPU and mobo temp monitoring, I have noticed that PC Probe reads different than AMD Overdrive's Monitoring (I do NOT use overdrive for OC'ing) but just to see temps in another program. For instance pc probe reads around 34 deg c at idle while Overdrive reads ~40.5 deg c. Does anyone know which would be more accurate? Or is there another program that seems to be the most accurate besides using temp probes?

I use CoreTemp, but I do not know how well that would work on an AMD system.
