Hey guys, so I'm building a new computer and would like you all to tell me how good it is and if there happen to be any conflicts. The price range is no greater than $1500. The total can probable go a bit over, perhaps by 100. This computer will be mostly for gaming/everyday uses. I am not willing to overclock unless it is very VERY easily overclocked.

Case: Antec Nine Hundred

Motherboard: XFX MB-N780-ISH9 Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813141005

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Processor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115037

RAM: G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Memory
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231122

Video Card: (MSI GeForce 8800GTS (G92) NX8800GTS 512M OC Video Card) x2 SLI
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814127325

Power Supply: OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI 700W Power Supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817341002

DVD Burner: Lite-On SATA 20x

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

The total of this build comes to $1,277.91 and obviously there is room for some more buying.

Thanks for reviewing :]

[:turpit:2] Nice work. No conflicts, no junk parts. :p

If this PC goes in the bedroom, you may want an RC-690 case and a Silencer 750W PSU instead of the Antec 900/OCZ 700W. Total price about the same, but without the annoying lights. Of course, you can snip the wires and take care of the LED, but that voids the PSU warranty.

Possible upgrades, but nothing absolutely necessary:
- PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] cer%2b750W $120
- HDD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] WD6400AAKS $100, 640GB, very fast
- cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] =HDT-S1283 (only needed if you overclock) $37

Just bought one of these babies today. This is a good deal, and a very reliable drive.

What resolution are you going to be running at? Going to do a lot of gaming?
