Hi! I would like to build a system in the $1000-$1300//500-700GBP price range for gaming with good longevity, doesnt have to be the best of whats available right now if the system gains longevity and upgradability. I'd like a quad core processor and 4gb of ram, OC'd but as for the rest of the components i'm in the dark. Main motivation for buying this new system is to be able to play age of conan on highest settings with low FPS and hopefully many other demanding games that come out in the next couple of years, but on my budget I know this may not be possable, bang for buck is important. I have a 22" HDTV by daewoo which i hope is good enough as a monitor.

I'd replace the MB with a GA-EP35-DS3L (you don't need to pay for SLI, it's cheaper and a newer chipset) and the hard disk with a WD6400AAKS (it's much faster than the 500GB version).

If your 8800GTS has 320MB or 640MB change it to a version with 512MB, that's faster than both.

Get out of here...and take your fail with you.

^....overkill PSU.... you don't need 650W for a non SLI build (as AEVM suggested DS3L).... Corsair 500VX is more than sufficient

Tuniq Tower is an old dude... Xigmatek S1283 is the new boss
