Hi,

I have a problem with OC. I've run this config for a week and it was all ok until today. I have a E2160 1.8Ghz and it was running up to 3.00Ghz. But today I cannot OC it even to 2.00Ghz. Setup was as following

Robust graphics booster = Auto
CPU CLOCK RATIO = 8X
CPU HOST CLOCK CONTROL = ENABLED
CPU HOST FREQUENCY(Mhz) = 333
PCI-EXPRESS FREQUENCY(Mhz) = 100
C.I.A.2 = DISABLED
SYSTEM MEMORY MULTIPLIER (SPD) = 2.0 (1:1 ratio)
Memory Frequency(Mhz) 800 800
HIGH SPEED DRAM DLL SETTINGS = OPTION 1
DRAM TIMING SELECTABLE SPD = MANUAL
CAS LATENCY TIME = 4
DRAM# TO CAS# DELAY = 4
DRAM# PRECHARGE = 4
PRECHARGE DELAY (tRAS) = 12
ACT TO ACT DELAY (tRRD) = AUTO
RANK WRITE TO READ DELAY = AUTO
WRITE TO PRECHARGE DELAY = AUTO
REFRESH TO ACT DELAY = 0
READ TO PRECHARGE DELAY = AUTO

*****SYSTEM VOLATGE NOT OPTIMIZED*****

SYSTEM VOLTAGE CONTROL = MANUAL
DDR2 OVERVOLTAGE CONTROL = +0.1v
PCI-E OVERVOLTAGE CONTROL = NORMAL
(G)MCH OVERVOLTAGE CONTROL = +0.1v
FSB OVERVOLTAGE CONTROL = +0.1v
CPU VOLTAGE CONTROL = 1.46v

I've got geil x2 1GB 800Mhz memory and 1GB 1024Mhz Kingston. Mobo is Ga-P965-S3 with bios v.14. I've got thermaltake cooling.
Does anyone know why this just stopped working?
It runs at the default settings now but won't allow me to OC at all.

Ok fixed it. I've reseted bios to a defaults (bios reset). Changed to above settings and it is working fine. Probably bios glitch

Can someone reccomend a 120mm fan?
By jsc, 10 hours ago:

Go to newegg. Look at the 12 cm fans. Make a table of rated airflow vs. noise (dBA). Don't consider really cheap fgans or fans above your budget. I further discriminate on the type of bearings. I do not like sleeve bearings.
