I'm planing on bying the GA-X48-DS4 mobo with Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 DHX Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL4(4-4-4-12) RAM. I went to the Gigabyte website to check if that RAM is supported and I did not find it in the supported list . How much should I be concerned? Has anyone experience with this combo?
hey i just build a rig with that mobo on monday... i used the corsair dominator 2X2gb ddr2 1066mhz and i haven't had one problem the system picked it up and ran it just fine. i would say don't worry too much if you want my memory which i know works here is a link....
as for the motherboard i have worked with a several motherboards and i really like this one i haven't had it long enough to say that has zero problems but the only error i get in my build was i reversed the power botton pin after that it just worked i haven't even had problems with crossfire(yet)
