More about unable connect systems running windows wired network
  1. Have you tried a ping test?
  2. It's the "all other settings i know of is ok" part that is usually the problem.

Turn on file and printer sharing on all computers.
Add "NWLink netBIOS" protocol to each computer.
Have at least one folder in each computer shared.
Have "Use simple file sharing" turned on in Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View (it is usually the last item)

Give Windows at least 10 minutes to find everybody.

Don't know how to do one or more of the above items? Come back and say so, I'll show you how.
  3. Exactly how are you connecting them? Are they all part of the same Workgroup? Is it a Domain? What's is not connecting? They can't see any other computers, what's going on exactly.
