I want to buy this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6816115056
and add four of these drives: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822145245

My computer is a dell poweredge 1900. I looked inside and saw that the PCIE x8 is open however the next slot over, an x4, has a raid card in there already and has 2 disks hooked up. I hope this won't cause conflicts with the new card as I intend to run both RAIDs together if I can. Thank you for any replies.

I left a detail out of my post. I want to make sure that the disks will work with the card. I can't find any reason why not but I am a software guy and don't want to overestimate my hardware abilities ;)
