More about overclocking q9450
  1. 1: Read the OCing guide
2: Read it again and take notes
3: search for the things you don't understand
    4: Read the guide again
5: Download CPU-Z, coretemp, OCCT or Prime95, memtest
    6: BUY an aftermarket heatsink
7: Download the Intel Data Sheet for your processor so you KNOW the max voltages that Intel recommends so you don't fry anything.
8: Read the guide again and start OCing. Have FUN.
  2. I got it to 3.2ghz and im at 1.2v everytime i test it crashes :??:
  3. It crashes for a reason, now you just have to find out why.

Start low, change one setting at a time, Test, Monitor Temps...............again and again

    That's called OverClocking.
