Overclocking the e8400

Hey everyone. I'm having some problems trying to overclock my e8400. I have an ASRock P43 Chipset Mobo. I go into CPU options and up the FSB from 333 to 400 and it can't post and just returns to the default settings after rebooting. I try to over clock with the ASRock software and it just freezes the comp. I think that this is the crappy motherboards fault, but it does come with OC Software and a setting on the mobo called "Intelligent Overclocking" which doens't seem very intelligent. Let me know if you need more info or if there are any other ways I could get this to work. Thank you.

You could always read the stickies/guides and learn how to OC. Then you could slowly raise the FSB / test / monitor temps until it fails and then start raising the voltages to compensate for the OC. Just an Idea.
