Hi guys, I'm going to build my first gaming pc in the next few weeks and would like some feedback on the parts I'm going with.

CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450
MOBO Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3R
CASE Antec Solo
PSU Seasonic S12 II 330W
GPU BFG Geforce 8800GTS 512MB
RAM G.Skill 4GB DDR2-800
MONITOR Samsung SyncMaster 2253BW x2
HD Samsung Spinpoint F1 750GB
DVD Samsung SH-S203N
OS Vista 64

I've seen some discussion that for gaming a faster dual core may be better than a quad...but I plan on using this for the next 3-4 years, so hopefully by then more things will take advantage of quad core. I'm also planning to multibox WoW once I upgrade, so I figured having 4 cores to run several instances of the game would help there. Any comments/suggestions?

The 320, 640 and 1TB are the good samsung F1 drives. Cant really find the 320 or 640 in the US, so I highly recommend getting the 1TB instead of the 750.

Definitely more PSU.
The Seasonic 470w or Corsair 450w should workk.

Consider the Antec Sonata III case which includes the EarthWatts 500w PSU. This is one of the few cases that includes a good PSU>

If you want to overclock, I suggest RC-690 + 550VX + HDT-S1283. If not, the Sonata case with its PSU and the stock cooler will be fine.

I think it's safer to get a Seagate 7200.11 disk or a WD7500AAKS or WD6400AAKS. Samsung is not bad, but Seagate and WD have better reliability.

The Sonata case looks good, I think I'll go with that. For the hard drive since Seagate seems to be a good choice I'm going to get a 750GB 7200.11 Barracuda.

i dont know, I have that sonata case and psu and the psu is great but the case is not vary good with cable managment and with just the one fan in the back it gets warm. i would look at the antec 300 case or the 900. the 300 is 70$ from newegg and you can get a good psu for the same or a little more.
