Oh yeah, that is so cheap, I'm sure people will be running to pay $600 for it now. For around $300, you can get 2 g92 8800gts in sli to outperform that gtx280.

either way don't ever buy this gt200 architecture... wait for the gt200 refresh... its supposed to solve a lot of the problems with the current architecture...
the current gt200 was just rushed to market to beat ATI in some benchmarks... unfortunately it didn't even do that... all it did was make nvidia look like a dumba**... i'm waiting till the prices drop... and the refresh before I make any kind of decision regarding these cards
Theyll do a 55nm or smaller node. And once their other options (gpgpu) have been tested and working, theyll adjust more towards gaming, on the refresh
