[ASUS] possible motherboard problem.

Hey guys, my pc is just out of warranty (sigh)

Motherboard : Asus M2N 1394 p : 90-MIB028-G0UAYZ
ram : 1gb kingston
graphics card : Asus 8600gt


Ok so my pc has been used mainly for games/movies, i turned it off last night got home from work turned it on then... screen wouldnt show an image, about 10 second after pc was loading it did some internal beeps, was 1long beep 3short beeps.

i tried 4 monitors none of them worked, ive tried to google my motherboard and the bios beep system it uses and i cant find it, i also checked my mobo booklet without success.

would any of you guys know what beep system it uses/what the beeps mean. im praying its just graphics card or ram

Uhh im not gonna do the work for you but you should find out what bios chip you have. Theres Award, megatrend and pheonix. Pheonix owns award now so there are two. Then look up the beep codes. Or you can find a good PSU and switch it out with yours to see if your psu is the problem. Do the same with a good video card sound like its your power supply unit tho.
