Hi,

I have a 12V, 3 pin case fan that I need to run off a standard 4 pin Molex (like for a HD) and need to know which wires to patch together.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

can you match the colours ,you will only have to match the ground and the hot
,,remember the molex has both 5v and 12v hot lines,if you can get your hands on a cheap multimeter t'would make things easier, dosen't matter which black you use for ground tho..:> )

If you do not feel like playing with wires you could always buy one of these.

Thanks for the replies,

Multimeter would be great, but mine just died after a 15+ year stretch. No complaints there. Don't mind messing with wiring, especially since I have to gte this box up and running yesterday.
