Vista cannot access usb drive

Hello,
i have windows vista and I was playing a game on my usb, I go onto the internet on the same computer to look up some mods. I try to go on to my usb, it recognizes it but in it it says this folder is empty. i click on properties an it says Used Space: 0 bytes 0 bytes Free Space: 0 bytes 0 bytes, WHY, WINDOWS VISTA RECOGNIZES IT BUT NOTHING IS SHOWING

Have you tried inserting the USB stick into another computer to see if the same thing occurs?
