Im looking to build a new system and am really stuck when it comes to picking the case for it. I'm looking for a case around $100 thats big so i guarantee i can fit almost any upgrades in it and so that it will be easy to install everything.
What i plan on putting in it:
Amd 64 X2 5600+ Brisbane (2.9GHz)
DFI LANPARTY DK 790FX-M2RS 790FX ATX AMD mobo
Corsair (2 X 2Gb) 240 pin 800 DDR2
Seagate Barracuda 250Gb 7200 rpm 3Gb/s SATA
Pioneer 20X DVD+-R DVD Burner
2 X Ati Radeon 4850 Pci ex 2.0X16
CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W Power Supply 100
So far ive come up with an Aerocool Masstige Silver SECC .8mm Atx Case but this is the part ive researched least. Looks dont matter to me and sound insulation is good but not important. Another plus im looking for is good ventilation, but i dont really need state of the art. I just want to make sure the price stays around $100 or less. I did see one on youtube that has a drawer to pull out the mobo which seemed great as it would make installing the mobo a piece of cake. Overall, the most important feature i want is to be able to put all my stuff in it with no troubles of actually getting it in there. Any ideas?
to ausch30, i liked both, the first for its airflow, and the second for the mobo tray and seemingly high quality features. But the one on newegg doesnt seem to have the window or light, oh well. That's prob why they have it at $99 instead of $160 as in the review, which is more improtant to me than the lightshow.
Do you think the second one would offer enough airflow to all my parts?
It lacks that top mesh, but does have full front mesh. Cheap, and over 700 good buyer feedbacks. Not nearly as many fans, but still good airflow. I use it on my rig.

Lian Li is known for their attention to detail and their engineering so yes it would have plenty of cooling for your parts. Quiet & efficient cooling is about proper design not brute force, it's not the number of fans it's how their air flow patterns are designed.
If your concerned you could spend an extra $40 and get this

Did you have any regrets at all when you got this case?
It's not like i have high standards since im upgrading from the EMachines case ive been using for a few years.
Did you have any difficulties installing anything into the case? Any other difficulties people normally wouldnt think of? If not then this sounds like a potential winner.

sorry ausch30, was talking to dagger about his case. And on second thought im really thinking about the Lian Li PC-61 since it was drawn out to be such a well designed case. I like that everything comes apart and that it has a mobo tray which will make adding the mobo less tedious.
It is an outstanding case. I though about Lian Li when I bought mine but the deal breaker was that at the time all their cases had the front panel connectors at the bottom and I wanted mine at the top of the case due to my case sitting on the floor, just a personal preference.

The Lian Li in this thread only has 8cm fans and the grill over them seriously restricts air flow.
The second one is much better but a bit on the pricey side.
The Antec 300 with 2 added 12cm fans in the front would be ideal for what you have in mind.
I also like the Antec Nine Hundred, I have one, it's a great cooling case, with near optimal air flow. Lucky me I got mine from Frys on sale delivered for $80.
I think im gonna write down these suggestions and visit a nearby comp store to actually see some cases. Picking a case online is hurting my head b/c with every case people have terrible and great opinions about it, and they are almost always saying things that conflict with someone else. More suggestions are always welcome though.

That's always a good idea, I liked the Antec P180 until I saw it and saw it's cheap plastic door so it's always best to get a good feel for what you want and then buy online. Good luck.
