ok i have an old computer from hp, which is model a1340n. when i added 1 gb of ram of the same speed as the one that was currently in the system windows wouldnt load anymore, but was detected in the bios. it wud give me option whether to start windows normally, best known config ect, but each option i picked made my computer just restart. when i removed the new ram, my system booted up fine. i already reformatted my computer and it didnt solve my problem. hope u guys can help me with my problem.

it seems thaT neither ram wouldnt boot on the 2nd dimm slot and both booted successfullyat the first dimm slot. so i went into conclusion that the motherboard is the problem
