need help installing new graphic card

i have a dell e520. with a integrated graphic card. iv'e tried updating to a new graphic card but when ever i uninstall the drivers for the integrated graphic card and stut down my computer then put my new graphic card in the pci (x16) slot then reboot up my system i recieve an error message saying pbr descriptor 2....failed. I am askin any ine to help
