I recently installed a Vista upgrade on my XP system. I have hi-speed internet access on cable. After the upgrade the system does not recognize my internet connection. What can I do?

Install the vista drivers for your nic.

Thank you. That was the conclusion I finally came to. However, the problem was that when I upgraded to Vista I left all devices attached to the computer, including my MagicJack, which includes an ethernet driver.I think the problem might have something to do with MagicJack. I was having problems between MagicJack and Vista before the upgrade. The controller for Vista is on the system. It doesn.t work. I wonder if uninstalling and reinstalling the controller driver would solve the problem. Any thoughts?
