I am looking for a good gaming motherboard for around the price of 180-200 US dollars. But I was reading that there are problems with video corruption and other problems with the MoBo so I would like to know the oppinion of the forum. Is this a good board is it worth the money?

System so far:
CPU: Wolfdale E8400
RAM: Corsair Dominator 2GB (2x1GB)
MoBo: ?
Cooling: Air-Tuniq Tower 120
GPU: XFX Nivida 9800 GTX Black Edition
PSU: 500W ThermalTake

I disagree. I have the 780i FTW from Evga and it is an incredible mobo. I coupled mine with an Evga GT280 and a Q9550 with 8GB of 1066 RAM...couldn't be more pleased with the setup. Looks to me that you have a solid system there.

I don't get it. If you're only getting one video card, and you PSU is too weak to support adding a second card, why would you pay extra for a SLI board? The EVGA 750i is good, but you could get a GA-EP43-DS3L for way less money and it would be just as good.

Are you thinking of a dual-GPU setup? If yes, get a P5Q Pro and a HD 4850 and a 650TX or 750TX. If not, save your cash and get a cheaper motherboard.

I was planning on getting another GPU and a 700-750W PSU when I get the money but for now...I don't have all the money so yeah..
