Dude that is perfect, man great choice for under $1000 just use the DVI/HDMI converter and your cool.

oh and make sure that the TV has other resolution settings as well like 800*600 and 1024*768 etc.. other than that awesome.

I'm going to do a 40' Samsung 5 series preatty soon replacing my 21' gateway. hell yeah why not go bigger. :D

I guess it depends on your games and setup, but if strictly for gaming I'd rather be on a 24" Monitor than a 32" TV. I take it though it's not strictly for gaming. :)

Been looking at this one up myself.

Here is the one you want :D

Yes, If not for gaming I would go for that one. I fear the input lag, not to mention it's a bit out of my price range. It was at the top of my list, I am still considering it, and if a rare $500 deal comes around I'd probably grab it. My original thought was a $400 panel, but I need 1:1 pixel mapping and would like more inputs than some of the cheapies.

The gateway's advantage is no input lag and better 1:1 mapping over DVI.

For 9800GX2 i stronly recommend getting a 24" monitor with 1920x1200 resolution to really feel the power of it.

And both of those that paul and outlw recommended are good

i play cod4 crysis, frontlines games like that !!! i really wanna go BIG though like 32" 37" would be good size for me but i want to take full advantage of the HD connection on my 9800gx2 and basically want to get the FULL performance out of my 9800 when it comes to the screen.. i think with my 22" samsung im not getting best display that i could be getting with this card...

i wanna stay in the 600-800$ rang
