Hey guys! i just recently bought a e5200 for my 650i motherboard. Ive been overclocking for a few years now but ive never been good at it. Im lazy to learn all the details in overclocking. The e5200 at stock is 2.5ghz, and for sum reason my 650i has roblems overclocking... my p4 had problems and now my e5200 has problems. I got to 2.99ghz, but if i try 3ghz itll beep and ill have to clear cmos. PPls have reached over 3ghz on stock volts and my motherboards volts changers are all messed up! so thats not really an option. my temps are great (idk wat they are but i no there below 70c). does anyone know sum guide for overclocking pentium duals, e5200, or the 650i? thanks

well, if can't up the voltages(oe don't want to), make sure your memory isn't running too fast aka out of spec, and if your memory is not running too fast, luck of the draw on cpus being not as good at overclocking

THANKS! i thought about what u said on the ram mite be pushed to much so i changed the ratio to 3:2 instead of 1:1 which lowered the clock by 200mhz but that allowed me to get 3.5ghz!
Thanks
