Heya,

Miracle, if you want to attempt to bring even your machine to its
*knees* (or nearest hardware equivalent), I think you might want to look
at the single player demo of F.E.A.R.

This demo freaked me right the hell out. And it looks delicious. I just
can't get good framerates with all the settings maximized, and even at
800x600 with compromises I'm not entirely happy :(

Once everything is up and running, run this baby with everything maxed.
I want to know if they built this thing to last two or three years in
terms of hardware (meaning current day hardware just cannot max
everything), or if my system *is* hopelessly outdated, being 1.5-2 years
old.

The rest of you, saddle up, because this looks like a fun shooter.

Yes, but, see, FEAR is a playable demo.

But if these guys can get those kind of graphics into a real-time game,
it'd wipe the floor with FEAR. Somehow, though, I get the impression
that that day is a long time off.
