first i must apoligise for my english :] ( newbie from poland( in this country anybody can help me ;] ) )
i have problem about core 2 duo 1,86
sometimes 1 core working non stop in 90% usage , 2 core working normally , but this 1 core... when i listen the music i hear crack and crack, this makes my angry
wtf is going on with my c2d ? with this stupid first core ?
how can i listen to my music without this cracks ?
Check the processes tab in Task Manager (CTRL + ALT + DELETE). If you can't see it or it just says "service host", then download Windows Sysinternals Process Explorer v11.11 and try it. It gives more specific information.

Open Task Manager
Try with different application and see if the same core is always not working
Then you have a defective processor
Noise in music??
what is your sound card and speakers ??
