Ok so Ive searched everywhere. and for some reason or another I can't access my BIOS. Its a new computer, EVGA X58 SLI, Phoenix Award BIOS, Core i7. According to most sites for Phoenix bios you press DEL but when I tryed DEL it asks me what I want to boot. And gives me the Vista option. I press F11 and F12 etc nothing. I don't understand why. I get no POST screen either. I get a screen of white text displaying mainly motherboard components but dont see any POST or msg that says to enter setup.

Someone please help, Im very frustrated and the only way I can access them are by reseting the BIOS everytime. So what am I doing wrong?

as soon as you turn it on, I would start jamming on DEL, F1, F2, F10, F11
If none of those do the trick, try hooking up a PS2 keyboard rather than a USB one. I have a pc where the usb keyboard doesn't turn on til after it posts, so the DEL key won't get me into the BIOS unless I hook up a PS2 keyboard.

try hitting f2 or f12 when you turn it on

Read the manual to see what button to hit, your probably hitting the wrong button.

Page 35 of the manual says....

Power on the computer.....

Press the DEL key when the following message briefly displays at the bottom of the screen during the Power On Self Test (POST).
Press F1 to continue, DEL to enter Setup.
