Harddrive request a password

for some reason when i turn on my acer one, the first thing come out is the harddrive is lock and it request a password wich I do not know any password to open the hard drive. thanks

Is this a work or home netbook? If the former, check with your office IT. If the latter, try to figure out who uses it aside from you.
